Yuki Kikutake

Yuki Kikutake is a graphic designer and a professor of Visual Communication Design at Tokyo Metropolitan University (Graduate School of System Design, Department of Industrial Art). She began her career working for Nippon Design Center, in 1994 she established Studio Compasso. She has created various projects show the possibilities of supergraphics that is not be constrained by conventional ideas of architecture, space and environment. During the course of her career, Kikutake has been the recipient of many awards; she is a recipient of the Brunel Award by Watford Conference, the Yellow Pencil by D&AD in UK, and Good Design Award in Japan, among others. She is the author of Super Graphics (Seigensha, 2018).
