Registration information for the ATypI Tokyo Conference, 4–7 September 2019: terms, pricing, and other vital details.
Day 1: Wednesday, September 4—Optional Workshops
Choose from a variety of technical, business, and craft workshops. Select one or two half-day sessions, or one full-day session.
Days 2–4: Thursday–Saturday, September 5–7—General Session
Registration includes three days of conference sessions, refreshment breaks, opening keynote event, the closing night party on Saturday, and loads of other exciting activities.
All prices are in US dollars.

Speaker Rate: $250.00. Covers the Forums/General Session and all included social events. Discounted speaker rate is only available to one speaker per presentation. No further discounts apply.
Partner/Spouse Social Event Rate: $250.00. This courtesy rate is available to partners and/or spouses of full-conference attendees and provides admission to social events only. One partner/spouse registration per full-conference attendee. Partners/spouses who wish to attend Workshops and/or the Forums/General Session must register in the appropriate category and pay the required fee. No further discounts apply.
*The Student Rate is available to students currently enrolled in an accredited full-time program. Please provide your school/program name and student ID number during registration. No further discounts apply.
Note to current or past ATypI members: Please log in to your ATypI member account before registering for the conference in order to avoid creating a duplicate account.

Cancellation requests received by Thursday, August 1, 2019, will receive a refund of main conference registration fees paid, less a $50 processing fee. Cancellation requests received between Friday, August 2, and Friday, August 23, 2019, will receive a refund of 50% of main conference registration fees paid. After August 23, 2019, no refunds of any kind can be given.
No refunds can be given on optional pre-conference workshops or ATypI membership dues.
Approved refunds will be made within 30 days after the conference ends. Method of refund will be determined by the method of payment. All banking and other such fees are the responsibility of the person canceling.
Paid registration may be assigned to another person who is eligible for the same registration category or lower. Substitution requests must be received by the Secretariat by Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
All cancellation and/or substitution requests must be received in writing and confirmed by the Secretariat to be valid. Cutoff time for all such requests is 11:59 pm (23:59) Eastern Daylight Time (New York).
By registering for the conference and paying any required fees and/or using a registration discount code, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Code of Conduct
Anyone granted admission to ATypI Tokyo, whether paid or complimentary, must agree to abide by the ATypI Code of Conduct. The CoC will be published on the ATypI website in conjunction with the opening of conference registration.
